The Church Of The 8th Day is a collective of people within the underground music scene who live by the credo that if you don't agree with the way something is being done, get out there and create a better way. We work with bands in pretty much any style of music as long as an underground work ethic is evident within the band itself. If you're a band trying to get a show within Los Angeles please drop us a line.
Church of the 8th Day is also for all fans of underground music. We stand for unity within all the scenes, whether that be metal, hardcore, indie, Goth, Industrial, hip-hop, punk, etc. This means not drawing dividing lines between the fans who listen to different types of music. We also want to keep music fans in the know of when and where local shows are happening so you can go out and support your local artists and keep the underground music scene in Los Angeles thriving.
Church of the 8th Day always needs your help affording flyers, posters, zine ads, bar guarantees and venue rental fees. We are DIY promoters and it is you showing up and supporting our shows that ensures we can put on more shows!
