I used to live in the beautiful black mountains of Wales,where i was free to subject the local wildlife to lashings of sound pollution from an early age, learning piano
then getting my first synth. Before i had reached teenhood i was aware of the musical revolution which was taking place, and started listening to electronica,techno,ambient music what ever i could get my hands on,
fast becoming an avid collector of these genres( i still have my anorak! )
I started buying my own music hardware and borrowing bits here and there
and it has progressed from there I started as a Dj in 1994 working with lots of different
Bars,club nights, organising free parties over the coming years and making my own music.
I am currently residing in Bristol where i am resident with Metro Tempo clubnights.
i am also a beta tester for new forms of technology produced by a good pal of mine Que, who is an Immense programmer and doesn't think like anyone else in the industry, the systems he has produced have primarily been designed for
livesets,the interactivity beetween man and machine(AMCS hardware sequencer),raw sound quality(3etam) and controls beyond human comprehension, the two units have been designed to work side by side (like turntables), but with all facets of the sound that can be manipulated.On the route
to enlightenment we still are, but edging closer to a deeper understanding of what can be achieved if you dont nessecarily stick to the rules
Myself and the rest of the ILS crew will be releasing our first 12" on Inverted Light Source soon, with the premise that all tracks featured on there will be powerfull, with NO boundries, and will always be true to our beliefs,never to follow trends or to jump on the accessability bandwagon;
