Chris Perry Music

Well I'm not really sure what to write about me so if this sounds really stupid than I have an excuse. I wrote my first real song " Until Then" in 1997 using the only two chords I knew at the time from reading one of my dads Elvis song books. You know the old ones that had the pictures of the chords so you knew where to put your fingers. From then on it has been a series of mishaps and adventures that have led me to now. Over the course of my life I have been very fortunate to have met and played with a number of very talented musicians from all different styles but all very good at what they do. I owe everything that I am today to those people and I am very grateful for what they have taught me. Guys like Galen Keith and the boys from Lovetap, John Henry and Andrew Jackson in Omaha, NE to others such as Dustin Blocker, Shawn Fussell, Towne Adams, Ryan Roberts and the boys from BDR studios right here in Texas and so many others have taught me things that I will forever be in their debt. Music is something that gets in your soul and drives you when you think that you have nothing left. It will always be there.
