Alright, here are the basics. The name is Kristen. I am called by a varity of different nicknames, but the one that seems most common is Kay--you are welcome to call me that. I am a Sophomore at Eastern Michigan Unviersity. For the moment, my major is nursing intent, meaning that I'm doing all the pre-reqs. to quailfy for their program. I find out this coming July whether or not made it in. I am a commuter. I drive a VW Beetle--awesome car!
As for my physical characteristics; my heritage is mostly German than any other European country so, yes, I'm a blue-eyed blonde. I'm am not a Nazi or any form of a commutist, I prefer the American democracy. For any other physical characteristics explore my myspace--it's all there. If you are requesting to add me to your friend list because (1) you want every girl on myspace to be your friend, (2) you want to meet me for sex, or (3) you're just trying to expand your friend list know this: I do not accept friend request from people I don't know, however, I am curious as to why you want to be my friend; do send me a short message. I often clean (or edit) my friends, if I do accept you and we don't talk, I delete you without warning. People that I do know in person, you're in the safe zone--no worries. If you're looking for sex, GO AWAY I'm not interested. If you think you can change my mind, you'll be disappointed. Also, I do not do myspace dating--meaning, I'm not going to meet someone I met here on myspace, or say you are my boyfriend when I don't even know you--so, don't even try.
I do like to talk to new and interesting people. If you have something you want to talk about send me a message--however, I'm horrible at conversation; please be patient. I'm an open-minded person and I try my darnest to take someone else's point of view. Yet, like everyone else, I still have my limitations. We might even become buddies.
My close friends describe me as a nice person. Gerenally, yes I am, but insult my family or me and there will be some hostility. When I'm angry or frustrated I will not be afraid to stare you down. Some call it "if-looks-could- kill." Some will say that I'm high class--that I have this snob and unapproachable look to me. This does not mean I'm "high maintenance," however I'll let you decide. I do like to think I have some noble characteristics. I am not a snob, I do not think I'm better than everyone else, I know everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I'm an honest person; sometimes it's just hard to find the right words. Lies cause too much trouble, chaos, and unnecessary waste of energy. Also, I'm a pacifist. Even though I don't like fighting, if the situation occurred, I will fight back in my defense. Unfortunately, as out going as I seem, I'm actually a quiet and shy person who keeps to herself.
Loyality and trust, I think, are two very important characteristics. However, no one likes to be toyed with. If I find out I have been disrespect and/or lied to, my trust in you goes down. If it goes down far enough, I no longer wish to assoicate with you.
Activities that I like to do include many things. I have accepted that I am a fragile person so I don't usually play many rough, hands on sports (except on some occassions). It makes me sad, but I have found others. In high school, I was in marching band (yes, it is a sport, we can have that debate later because I don't see how golf is a sport). During the summer when the lakes warm up, I enjoy swimming. I'll be in the water any chance I get. Also, when I have time, I'll horseback ride. I usually ride my sister's horse.
I do not like to drink. When I go to parties I rather have fun being myself than my "alter-ego". However, I do have some when I'm around familiar company which usually includes my family, a very small group of close friends, or on special occassions. I encourage my friends to do the same, but I know I cannot stop them. I do not mind being the designated driver--just don't take advantage of me.
I like to try new things. Since high school, I've been doing my best to "get in shape" as it were. Over the summer, I like to go camping, ride around on our family's Waverunner, bike, take walks, and many sorts of other activities.
While I was in Costa Rica I got a taste of hiking, zip-lining, and exploring; I absolutly enjoyed thoses activities and wouldn't mind doing them again. I would also like to try scuba driving, rock climbing, fencing, martial arts, and others of the sort. I've done snowboarding... but it's not for me. I'm also a little hesitant to try sky diving.
If you actually read though my myspace, tell me about yourself.
