10/6/09 - We're back!
Well, it was supposed to be a secret but that failed. And, inspired by Futurama's return to televised 21-minute episodes, we thought we'd copy them with our own 'comeback announcement'. So, in case you were unaware before, or even if you're so stupid that you've read this far into this message and are still unaware, here goes.......
No Heroes, after months of inactivity, has reformed. After we broke up, we had plans to come back and play a final show around the time of our video release. But, as we were already involved in other projects, we kept putting off plans of a last show. We put it off for so long that eventually we started talking about how it sucked for it to be finished so soon, and how our back-story seemed too half finished. So, in the end we thought "Fuck it, we've done it before, let's make a fresh start". So, for the last 4 months we've been locking ourselves in a room full of musical equipment writing new music, brushing up and improving our old songs and getting excited to play more shows.
In addition, we have new members of the band. Taking over on guitar is Nick, replacing Hamish on drums is Sean and we've recently recruited Joe, our new bass player. Our new members have helped develop our sound over the past few months and the songs, new and old, are the best they've ever sounded and we're very excited to play them. Look out for new demos and show announcements in the coming weeks/months Tell a friend about us too!
To those who have supported us in the past, thank you so much, we hope you like our new material just as much. To those of you who haven't heard of us or simply don't dig our tunes, our new stuff is going to be a lot different, so you might like it. Either way, we're all very excited to be back.
