There are guys running around here thinking that being faithful and monogamous equates being boring and dull. Are you kidding me? No way! Monogamy is extremely HOT and WAAAAAYYY SEXY!! Getting to know your partner mentally, emotionally and spiritually, just makes the physical all the more intense. So listen up... sluts in the real world and in the cyber world need not waste my time. I'm a one-man kinda man! (And yeah, I'm currently accepting applications for residence in my heart once again)
I love to smile and laugh. Many friends and coworkers say I am one of the liveliest and funniest people they know. Personality wise, I'm all over the place... loyal, hardworking, traditional, spiritual, romantic, impulsive, goofy. Though proudly in my 30s, I still feel like I'm in my 20s... which is a good thing, right?
I am a media whore and pop culture junkie... seriously this is at the core of who I am. I love my music, I love my Tv shows (though mostly I am hooked on DVD boxsets of older shows, I still love me some American Idol and Rockstar, as you can probably guess) and I am a huge film buff. I love my entertainment magazines the way some guys love porn, and I keep abreast on the Hollywood insider news (not so much who is doing who, but like, who is going to be starring in what next... THAT kinda stuff). It makes me happy, and I will never apologize for any of it. Deal with it.
I volunteer when I can... I really do enjoy volunteer work... especially with young people. I'm passionate about gay rights, AIDS education, and mentoring our nation's youth. My vocal nature may intimidate some people, but I'm really kinda shy until I get to know you.
Once I get to know you, I am very honest and very blunt... I don't pull punches if it's something I think you need to hear. Too many people walk around in this life deluded because others ENABLE them to live like ostriches with their heads in the sand. Not me, I am the type of friend who tells you what you NEED to hear, not what you WANT to hear. Can't handle that? You prolly can't handle THIS then...
Even though I do enjoy a good danceclub, martini bar or night of fine dining, I do love to be "domestic" at home as well.
I've already mentioned how much I LOVE a good cuddle on the couch with my DVDs.
A nice mellow CD and a good book on my comfy leather couch just relaxes me SO MUCH as well.
Cooking is a hobby of mine that I really don't get to spend as much time doing as I'd like, due to work. But I enjoy cooking, it also relaxes me but inspires a different kind of creativity. I like experimenting with different spices and deviating from a chosen recipe to create my own unqiue dishes. I live many types of cuisine too, Italian (being from NY), Mexican (living in LA), Chinese, Thai, etc...
Interior Design is something I arguably know little about, but it's become an interest of mine lately. This year, 2007, marks the year I NEED to redecorate. While my friends LOVE my home and refer to it as a "Museum of American Pop Culture" and it arguably IS both a FUN PLACE and WARM HOME, I would really like to step it up a notch or two. I'm reading books & magazines on design now and trying to figure out what I wanna do with this very great West Hollywood (rent-controlled) space. I don't wanna stray from who I am, but I want it more sophisticated for the new year and the ever-evolving me. Any suggestions? Where's Nate Berkus when I need him?
I love to travel... Working as often as I do, I don't get to travel as often as I want. Lately, I've been bouncing around to different states meeting up with my buds. My travel goals for 2007-2008: Hawaii, Australia, The UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and France. I'm also yearning to revisit LAS VEGAS, TEXAS and FLORIDA/SOUTH BEACH sometime soon... and I am ALWAYS up for a trip home to visit my beloved family and other peeps on LONG ISLAND, NY and NEW HAMPSHIRE! HOLLA for the EAST COAST and the NY Tri-State Area!

Yeah, she's the one who got booted off Idol way too early only to make the comeback of the century playing the pivotal role of EFFIE WHITE in DREAMGIRLS. Yeah, DAVID~ ROCKSTAR IDOL first picked this woman to be a superstar years ago.... So now that everyone is finally believing me, remember this people. I TOLD YA SO! YEARS AGO!

This band, fronted by CHRIS DAUGHTRY of American Idol Season 5 has a KILLER debut CD out (read the blogs bitches, I wrote all about it!) and is probably the most exciting new thing happening in rock in 2007. In 2005, we saw JD FORTUNE plucked from obscurity and made into the new lead singer of my favorite 80s band, INXS.
Sadly, TOMMY LEE and the boys pulled a Season 2 blunder and picked the one fucking LOSER of the bunch (Lukas Rossi, aka SKUNKBOY) with absolutely no future ala Idol's Ruben Studdard...
But despite the fact that Supernova (or whatever they are planning on renaming themselves) picked the WORST POSSIBLE contestant to front their band, we still got exposed to a lot of really talented musicians in Season 2... Now, my only question is... where the hell is Season 3?!? I miss this show!!!
