Anthony DiMercurio was born and raised in Miami, Florida about 21 years ago. With a blend of Italian and Cuban, he grew up with a strong hispanic influence and a little Italian discipline. Spending most of his life driven by the various genres of Rock & Roll, his love for Electronic Dance Music didn't begin until around the end of high school. He began picking up influences from the likes of David Guetta, The Sweedish House Mafia, Dave Spoon, and many others, slowly but surely guiding his love for the different styles of House Music. In 2005, he attended Miami's Ultra Music Festival, making his love for EDM even stronger. By the time 2007 came along, he had already made up his mind about DJing and invested into this dream. This year has seen alot from DiMo, a guise chosen by him to use, including making many mixes and getting his name out in local parties. He was finally able to take the first major step this Fall by performing in one of the best clubs in the nation, "The Pawnshop Lounge" located in Downtown, Miami, FL.
A side project that DiMo is finding most succesful, working with Groovewaves.tv, as bringing tracks and remixes alike to life with fellow Dj and friend , DJ RC. DiMo began his life with Groovewaves.tv about a year ago, making monthly appearances but slowly gaining respect in the miami scene to become a Resident of Miami's best Live dj Broadcast. After numerous months, and many hours of production, DiMo & RC collaborated together to create two wonderful tracks set to be released through Department of Dance on beatport.
