About Me

From Rhode Island, pianist Julian Shore has played and/or performed with artists such as Joshua Redman, Myron Walden, Chris Cheek, Marcus Strickland, Ferenc Nemeth, Hal Crook, Godwin Louis, Francisco Pais and many other prominent musicians around New England and abroad. A recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, he was awarded a Full-Tuition Scholarship in 2005, and studied there under Danilo Perez, Hal Crook, Frank Calberg and Leo Blanco among others. Most recently he performed in the Panama Jazz Festival, recorded in Balik Studios, Switzerland with Montreaux Guitar Competition winner Jeff Miles and is currently playing and recording his original music in Boston and New York.
