DAILY KINDNESS | DYLANKLEBOLD.COM
My name is Calence Ethan Emerson. I am a 28 year old web developer/graphic artist, published poet and soon-to-be published author, currently preparing two books for publication later this year. I play a little guitar, banjo, harmonica, djembe, and keyboard. I am interested in a variety of topics including quantum physics, chakras, Kryon, channeling, natural and holistic health & healing, the benefits of organic foods, and I heavily research and advocate AGAINST the systems put in place by the American Government in order to slowly sabotage our freedoms. I buy, sell, trade and develop domain names for personal profit, non-profits, advertising revenue and general education of the masses on important issues most people are ignorant of like artificial sweeteners, the truth about dairy and soy, cholesterol and flu vaccines.
I have been single for 9 years and I choose to be single because I don't believe in dating a bunch of people to "see if they're right for me." I have extremely high standards, and I don't do drama. I've found that in most relationships when there is no drama, the other person tries to create it. I don't check people's phones, keep tabs on them, or need to be attached to anyone 24/7. If I ever decide to get involved with anyone they must have their own life, their own friends, their own goals and be willing to follow their own dream, even if that means leaving me behind. Life's too short to wander off of your own path in order to follow someone else's.
I have been through a lot in my life. I have made many mistakes from which I have learned some of the most valuable lessons in life. I have also made some amazingly positive choices which have taken me down a path I never would have dreamed possible. I am living my dream. I am exactly where I want to be in life. There is nothing I would rather be doing -- no path I would rather travel than the road that leads to my destiny. This is my life, this is who I am - and it's really that simple. I'm not ashamed of my past and care not to hide it. I have absolutely no regrets.
I believe you are rich you have enough money to satisfy all of your desires. I've cultivated an extremely simple but very pleasing lifestyle and I don't encounter a single day of stress on the job. I really don't feel any stress anymore. No matter what job I do. It's all about shifting your attitude. I work with wonderful people I feel blessed to have in my life and at my job! I have been a barista for 10 years and it is my belief that there is no greater service than service to others. This is the life I never thought was possible - but that I am living. I asked for my dream job and my prayers were answered. My job did not become my life like most; my life's work became my job. And it doesn't matter where I go - my dream is my life, regardless of where I am.
I have made living my chosen, natural life my career as opposed to what most people do by turning their chosen career into their life. I did not find my life neatly mapped out for me inside of a college catalog. I found my life the moment I realized the concept of non-attachment and incorporated it into my daily life.
I have many passions in life but my main passion is for educating people about Columbine and school violence for more reasons than can be explained through the written word. School violence is an issue that has affected me personally both before and after Columbine. My aim is to raise awareness and show people that we need to simultaneously eliminate the motivation for school violence as well as help our children find effective coping mechanisms to deal with the problems in their life that may accumulate over time and remain unresolved. We may not be able to control the situations in our lives but we can always control the way we react to them. Western culture has reached an all-time low -- and it's time to reclaim our society as one filled with compassion and respect for all.
Throughout the years I have educated thousands of people about Columbine and school violence prevention including some who have been on the same path as Eric and Dylan. The educational aspect of my work has been reciprocal in the sense that I have learned something from every person I have spoken with.

Erahm and JC are amazing and I feel lucky to know them as they are a major source of inspiration to me. They have put the main part of their careers on hold to pursue the issue of abuse in school by creating fantastic films and presenting them at schools all over the US and now in Canada with Joel Kornek. Please check out their films! You can find a link on their myspace page which is linked below:
This piece was originally created for www.kill-society.com. I created the parchment from scratch and the composers and music notes were created from a brush.
The scroll was created from scratch as a navigation menu for www.bush.us.com. The photos of George Bush are unaltered.
These wings were created for my Angel, Tish!
I'm really not sure what I did with this one, it was around 2003.
For this piece I combined a photo of the ocean with a fantasy background and created a star in the background.
This piece combines two photos from the ocean with a planet and star field made from scratch.
I created this planet from scratch as well as the star field for a banner for www.do-something-now.com.
This banner was created for www.abovehuman.com by using multiple brushes and giving it a worn look.
This interface was created from scratch for an interactive flash player.
Vortex created from scratch.
For this piece I took a photograph a friend took and gave it a worn look.
