Called 'the future of guitar' by guitar professor William Kanengiser of the University of Southern California has earned degrees in guitar from USC and California Institute of the Arts.He took up the guitar at ten years old under the influence of the many guitarists in MTV videos. It wasnt long before Eric got serious and began his musical training in the discipline of classical guitar.As a student, ericb has taken the top prizes in several prestigious guitar competitions and was sponsored by USC to tour Canada, the U.S. Mexico and Japan. He is looking to create a new sound in working with Mary Magdalan.Standard influences of Dimebag, Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn are tempered with the ideals and nuance of Brahms and Bach and flavored with the sweet dissonance of today's avant-garde.The godSPEED Tour lifts off in March 2007 with shows in over a dozen Gulf Coast cities. The tour will be asssiting displaced Gulf Coast musicians. A portion of the tour proceeds will go to musicians victimized by Hurricane Katrina. Judging by the bands incredible myspace frenzy, this tour will mark the undeniable presence of a fresh new sound.
