Matthew Crane is the UK's Youngest Operatic Baritone aka Young Maestro
At 16, after four years continual vocal training, he has already surpassed the careers of many of his operatic counterparts of the older generation. He has competed in many Classical Festivals and won many accolades for his stunning renditions of opera classics such as "Nessun Dorma", "Toreador" and "La Donna e Mobile" and has performed on the World's grandest stages including, The Royal Albert Hall and The Fairfield Halls with the London Mozart Players, to great acclaim.
Matthew's many achievements include being a recent champion of a BBC Talent Show, "Let Me Entertain You", hosted by Brian Conley, a support artist for Katherine Jenkins and G4 and a regular face on terrestrial television. Matthew has gained much local and national press interest on his journey so far and also many glowing celebrity reviews including a "Daily Express" article written by journalist, Vanessa Feltz and a letter of support and recommendation from the talented musician, Jools Holland. Nominated several times for A 'Pride in Medway Award' for outstanding achievement, he continues to wow the crowds with his unique vocal talents.
Matthew works tirelessly for various charities and has contributed to raising many thousands of pounds. He recently has been made a Patron of the CPC (Cerebral Palsy Care Charity) cpcare4u.co.uk, a local Charity which offers help and care to people with cerebral palsy and there families and to disabled people. Matthew's aspirations are to be the best classical singer in the World, to sing at the 2012 Olympic Games and to perform at the O2 Arena.
