A little background about who I am.
For as long as I can remember I desired my Independence; maybe because it was taught to me at a very early age by default. But whatever the reason, that desire was my drive to succeed and to do my best through continuing education, self development, perseverance and downright hard work. I sought out teachers, mentors, and opportunities to meet my ever evolving dream one step at a time.
The Early Years…,
I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts. I lived in an atmosphere of guilt, worry, and stress. My family like most was somewhat dysfunctional to say the least. Money was always an issue and resulted in numerous arguments between my parents. At a very early age I took responsibility for my life and started babysitting with my sister at age 9. I don't tell you this for sympathy, but to help you understand how I became the person I am today.
My childhood was just what I needed to learn independence, courage, and strength.
I have had my challenges with relationships and careers. Some failed, some were endearing, and some are still a work in progress, but they were all my choice and aided in my growth.
The Present…
I now live in Maui, HI with Thomas, my partner of 20 years. I have two wonderful children, one grandson and one grandaughter. My children, grandchildren and family are the most important part of my life and however I can ensure time with them is always uppermost in my mind.
I have worked in the Health Care Industry for 36 years and at home as a licensed massage therapist, certified hypnotherapist and a Master Reiki Practitioner.
