I'm Sushi. I'm still just a tiny kitten. My mom and dad adopted me from a no kill cat rescue called RESCUECATS.ORG
I was born there. My real mom's name is ShinShi, she is a purebred Siamese (isn't she pretty!) but she told me my dad is a very handsome ally cat somewhere. She told me she was rescued when she was pregnant by a very nice lady who didn't want her to be alone in the cold rainstorms, so she brought her inside where she was safe and warm and gave her a soft bed and good food. She is waiting to be adopted through Rescue Cats. I have brothers and sisters, but I even have an identical twin! We're special because we are Flame Point Siamese kitties. Even though we aren't purebred like my mom, we still look and act Siamese. I really hope my twin gets a nice home like I have....
My new mom is a hair stylist who works at Salon Red in Atlanta. And my dad is a massage therapist at Spacific Healing in Eagle's Landing. They are both trying very hard to help get my brothers and sisters and my mom and all the other kitties at the shelter adopted.
The people at the shelter are so nice. They are making sure that all the kitties go to safe and loving homes. They take us ALL to the vet (and thats alot of us, because there are over 150 kittens and cats at the shelter and in foster homes waiting to be adopted!) and get us checked out. We all get our shots, and we all get "fixed" and they even make sure that our blood is okay! We don't have Feline AIDS or Feline Leukemia or worms or fleas or earmites.... They even give our new family's all the paperwork AND frontline to keep fleas, ticks and mosquitos off of us and heartguard to keep us from getting heartworms! They care a lot about us at the Rescue. When people adopt us, they also get a bag of food and a garuntee that if we get lost someone can bring us home because they microchip us! They even make sure that if we get hurt or sick, that our vet bills can be paid with the health insurance they buy us for a month after our adoption!
I hope you consider adopting one of the kitties from the shelter... They need you so much!
100% of our adoption fees go into saving more cats and kitties. And for all the adoption fees or even donations over $100, our HUMAN friends who donated can get a reciept and deduct it from their taxes as a charitable donation! WOW! animal layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com
