Myspace BackgroundsDear Friends!Where do we start – so much is happening this year!Firstly, thanks to you the 2007 Spring Tour has proved extremely successful with full houses at many venues. Newcastle had two full houses in one day and Wolverhampton was almost full for each show. The atmosphere was fantastic! We were equally pleased with the smaller venues; we can’t mention them all – but the smallest of all was Halesworth in Suffolk and thanks to some dedicated marketing was full for both houses. We hope to be back at all venues next year – see tour dates.The presentation of the CFA Comedy Award went very well at Leeds City Varieties Music Hall with a good write up and pictures in the World’s Fair. Unfortunately Bolaz has now left the company but has been replaced with a great act from Kenya, the Kenya Chiefs, who happily romp through their acrobatics and perform an unbelievable limbo.As usual, Clive, Danny and Jonny will be back at the Hippodrome Spectacular in Great Yarmouth for the summer season. Jonny Marx will be creating Houdini’s famous straight jacket escape high in the roof of the Hippodrome along with some other never-before-seen illusions. Clive and Danny are secretly working on some new routines including a tribute to the dare-devil stunt man Evel Knievel – goodness knows what they are going to get up to, although I can here the motorbike revving up in the background already.Circus Hilarious will also be touring in the autumn – venues already on the date sheet - and 2008 will see us with a brand new show (featuring lots of water).
