Currently this is a solo project based off of the education and experimentation I've recieved from Berklee College of Music Online School. For school i'm required to create guitar tracks an lay them over bass an drum tracks to fit the lesson for that week. So far so good hard work has seriously paid off and I've maintained a 3.8 GPA on my way to my masters on guitar. i still have another 5 classes to drill into my brain and i plan to finish them up an tackle teaching people in the area guitar.
Please make note that 2 of the songs I have posted are my personal Original pieces of work composed outside of Berklee. "A little Touch of Irish" was just recently added to this page. It was composed on my mandolin in just my second day of playing with it and i decided to lay down the track for recording. The other song " Best Things In Life" includes an assortment of instruments rythem acustic guitar, lead electric guitar, Bass and drums. My drumming however wasnt up to par but its a good thing my major is in guitar i guess.
I do however owe lots of credit to my previous professors. Rick Peckham, Dan Bowden , Mike Williams and Joe Musella. Rick and Dan set me up for staying focused on rythem guitars an strive for perfection and Mike really opened up fretboard work for soloing in the blues fashion. For those that have known me awhile yes i believe i pushed alot of buttons with Professor Mike instead of playing in the style he was requesting i ended up making the piece completly mine. I encourge anyone an everyone to give www.Berkleemusic.com a shot if you would like to give studies in music a try . I pushed some buttons yes but they always encourage you to experiment an with their added tips they help you to harness your style. Its a great system . Enjoy the songs as i've enjoyed playing them.
After taking classic rock 101 with professor Joe Musella it was an awesome experience. anyone that it is interested in the roots of rock n roll i suggest its well worth the adventure. Many thanks to Joe for including one of Vai's masterpieces "For the Love of God" into his lessons. He performed the backing track for me to perform the guitar work. It was truely a dream come true when this song was listed for me to learn.
