I play Jazz, Blues, Funk, Brizilian and Mexican Musica. I live in Shawnee, KS. I started playing at the age of 12. I went to Shawnee Mission North West and studied music theory with Douge Talley. I was also in the Jazz Band and Combo's. At 17 years of age.. I studied with Guitarist Danny Embrey. Then with Rod Fleeman. I attened collage at UMKC under the direction of Bobby Watson. I studied Classical guitar with Doug Nieds there and learned a lot from sax player Hal Melia. I Graduated in 2005 and now preform with under my own name and as a sideman with many local groups. One group i've been in for the past 4 years is the Everette Devan group. The BEST Organ player in the midwest!!!! I've also been added as the guitarist with the James Ward Band. I have a steady Friday-Saturday 8:00-12:00pm at the Mango Room.. Located at the corner of 12th and Main.. This is with Mike Miller..a GREAT Tallent!!! Percusion/singer/Tenor sax player.. I also host the Foundation Friday nights or Saturday Mornings 1:30-5:30AM with my friend Everette Devan and Mike Shanks. This is a Jam Session..So Bring your axe!!! Always a great Jam Session.. I just got done playing the foundation 1-5am and then stayed up and did this tv recording at 10am. I was so messed up. I look like a weight 200 pounds in this. Not true!!! And my hair is flat!!!
