About me, well, if you know me you probably feel like you know absolutely everything about me and for the most part you probably do, But here is some stuff you might not know; my favorite word is "luminous", I speak American Sign language, I have an elephant tattoo on my back- if you don't know why then you probably never will. When I was eighteen I picked up and moved to London to go to school and it changed my life and my understanding of what it truly means to be an American, for better and for worse. I am addicted to Indian food, sushi, movies and Rick's undivided attention. I can touch my tongue to my nose, but I can't cross my eyes. I adore quotes and song lyrics, I have over two thousand and am always acquiring more. I am a practicing Buddhist and have been since high school. I am becoming a Reiki Master and I have college degrees in Film, Deaf Theater and Liberal Studies. I need lipstick, laughter and Zan licks everyday.I wake up to the Today Show and fall asleep to the sound of Rick breathing, Zan has taught me more about love and patience then I ever thought possible. I knew I had met the love of my life on the first date and three months later when he got on his knee I said yes. I recently had the wedding of my dreams and I now know why they say your wedding day is the most amazing day of your life and I am truly grateful for each and every person who participated in it.I teach Autistic preschoolers Sign Language and they teach me about persistence and overcoming all obstacles, I am a proud democrat who would die for a woman’s right to choose. I laugh everyday but Oprah makes me cry. I am dyslexic , I am comfortable with who I am and yet I constantly strive to be better, I truly know peace when I meditate and I believe that happiness is contagious. As Mr. Rogers said “ you don’t have to do anything extraordinary to be lovedâ€.
