If I could meet anyone that ever lived the answer would be simple: Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Shakespeare. Why? Imagine sitting down to dinner with the three of them. After you got past the disagreements and artistic personality conflicts, I think the conversation would be the most inspiring you could ever imagine. Yes I am sure there are people in today's day and age that might be just as inspirational. But I think the mix of creativity, energy and intellect in this case would be astounding.
