Multi platinum selling superstars 50 CENT and AKON, are headline acts to perform at this year’s launch of MEDFEST.
Medfest 2007 is the First International Music Festival to be held in the Mediterranean, at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia, Cyprus, on Saturday 28th July. This festival is organised by AP Entertainment and One Events, and is supported by the Cypriot Government and the Cyprus tourism board.
Hip hop mogul and sitting No.8 in the Forbes “Power Listâ€, alongside the likes of Tom Cruise, and Oprah Winfrey is 50 Cent, performing an exclusive set showcasing tracks from his forthcoming album “Curtis†and previous smash hits including “Candy Shopâ€, “Just a little bitâ€, and “In da clubâ€.
Also, fresh off his successful US tour with Gwen Stefani, Akon is set to perform hits from his current album “Konvicted†selling over 3 million copies to date since its December release. There will be more UK and US artists to be announced in the coming weeks!
Tickets go on sale from 10th May via Ticketmaster and are also available directly from the GSP Stadium box office, and all usual ticket agents.
