About Me

I am NOT William Smith. This is just a Fan Page, a Tribute to one of the greatest actors alive. He was born March 24 1934. He is an actor. As a child he worked as an extra on movies like "The Ghost of Frankenstein", "Meet me in St. Louis" or "Gilda". In 1959 he had his first credit as Bill Smith in the comedy "The Mating Game" starring Debbie Reynolds and Tony Randell. From 1965 to 1967 starred in the Western series "Laredo" along Neville Brand and Peter Brown. 1969 he made the Biker flick "Run Angel Run" with director Jack Starrett which made him to a star on the exploitation scene. Did movies like "Nam's Angels" (1970), "Angels Die Hard" (1970), "CC and Company" (1970) and "Chrome And Hot Leather" (1971) which made him to the king of Biker movies. He did a lot of B-movies like "Piranha" (1972), Gentle Savage (1973)", the cult-classic "Invasion of the Bee Girls" (1973), "Black Samson" (1974), fought with Yul Brynner in "The Ultimate Warrior" (1975) and then had his big time on TV."Rich Man, Poor Man" run from 1976 to 1977 and Smith was the bad guy, Falconetti, which gave him the chance to make some better movies. From 1979 to 1980 Jack Lord's co-star of "Hawaii Five-0"'s last season. 1980 fought with Clint Eastwood in "Any Which Way You Can", played Conan's Father in "Conan the Barbarian" and did two movies with the great Francis Ford Coppola "The Outsiders" and "Rumble Fish" (1983)(as the Cop Patterson who shot Mickey Rourke) which he really liked. Then came the direct-to-video-years. 1987 worked with Fred Olen Ray and William Lustig and did cheap video-flicks like "Maniac Cop", "Moon in Scorpio", "Commando Squad" and the funny cult-classic "Hell comes to Frogtown" with the unforgettable Donald G. Jackson. These movies put William Smith back on the scene and introduced him to a new audience. Did a lot of more movies like "The Roller Blade Seven" (1991) again with Don Jackson. His last big budget film was "Maverick" (1994).William Smith is still in the business and he is still working...
