When I was 16 after I left school and hooked up with a rapper named Syndrome who pretty much introduced me to Rap/Hip Hop. One day he told me to sit down write a verse just to see how it comes out, I wasn't all too enphusiastic about it thinking i wouldnt be able to do it. That night I was sitting watching the TV and there was nothing on worth watching so I thought I would get a bit of paper and try my first verse. I was fairly pleased with the way the verse came out and took it to Syndrome for his opinion and his opinion was positive! Over the next few months I came to notice that I was writing little rhymes and little punchlines whenever I got the chance and was progressing fast! After a while me and Syndrome had lost touch but his effect had been left on my pen and paper.I remember I was at a friend of mines house and i was freestyling on his microphone just playing about not knowing that he had pressed the record button. A few days later I got a phone call from my friend saying that his brother-in-law wanted to manage me because he had heard the tape and had always wanted to be an artist manager. So I agreed to give it a go and see how it went, but after a few months i noticed that not a lot was happening with it and decided to go it alone.I attended a couple of different local recording studios trying to make my own beats but I didnt really get what I wanted so I got a free beat and wrote out a quick couple of verses and recorded a track in my bedroom titled "This Aint Love". I began showing people what I had made and was getting positive feedback for my lyrical abilities but knew that I needed to hear it from someone that was in the music industry! After six years of not seeing Syndrome I hooked back up with him and we went out for a drink, he introduced me to his producer Mike-S one half of Hard Livin'. From the bar we went straight to the studio and Mike-S was showing me tracks and beats that he had made and instantly I knew this was where I needed to be and who I needed to be working with!!Mike-S then agreed to produce my demo and mixtape and Syndrome has agreed to collaborate (which means a lot to me). We've recently recieved a distrobution deal so soon I'll be recording my first album and a mixtape to give out (both yet to be titled).
