My scripts have won or placed in 34 major screenplay contests for 62 awards, including the Nicholl Fellowships, the Sundance Lab and the Austin Film Festival. The awards include: Winner (1st Place) in 2009 Script Savvy Screeplay Contest (March) with a score of 59 out of 60, Platinum Remi Award (1st Place) for Short Screenplays at 2009 WorldFest Houston, Best Short Screenplay (1st Place) in the 2008 Queens International Film Festival, Best Latino-Themed Short Screenplay (1st Place) in the 2008 Latino Screenplay Competition, the Silver Award (2nd Place) in the 2008 Cinema City International Film Festival Screenplay Competition, 2nd Place in the 2008 A Feeding Frenzy Screenplay Competition, Finalist (Top 5 of 2,400) in the 2007 BlueCat Screenplay Competition, Finalist in the 2008 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards (3,865 Entries), Finalist (Top 10) in the 2007 Contest of Contest Winners.
My latest award-winning film "Sweet Dreams" recently played the Waterfront Film Festival, the Long Island Film Festival, the DC Shorts Film Festival, the Milwaukee Short Film Festival, the WILDsound Feedback Film Festival (in Toronto), the Park City Film Music Festival and FilmFest Reloaded (in Staten Island, NY). My previous award-winning films, "The Program" and "Two Play," are both available on
