I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a guitarist, songwriter, networking music promoter, and sound engineer. I have played, sessioned, and recorded with numerous bands. Bands (non major label work): Throttle, Deep NU, Fire Brat, Equinox, Trilogy, Four Play (R&B), and many others. I started studying guitar at a early age. After playing violin (yes Paganini) and piano before switching to guitar. I studied guitar under David T. Chastain (International Recording Artist), Geoff Jones (Cherry Lane Music Writer, Berklee Grad.), Jay Arnoff (Mara Band). I taught guitar for 2 years. I was inspired to play guitar by my father who use to play. He always had an old Teixco Del Ray laying around he had bought in Japan. Which I still have kept away. My older sister's Journey Escape (Neal Schon), Ted Nudgent Great Gonzos, Rush Moving Pictures, and AC/DC Back in Black albums also inspired me. Seeing "Gary Moore" on a PBS Saturday morning program playing and showing how his gear worked with a hot pink Fender strat, fueled my inspiration to by get a amp for the older then me Teixco guitar. I was also inspired early on in my playing by Randy Rhoads (yes I had a Randy shrine and he changed the way we all thought of guitar), Vivian Campbell, John Sykes, Shawn Lane, David Chastain, Jeff Watson, Yngwie Malmsteen, Ronnie Le Tekro, Andres Segovia, Brian May, Stanley Jordon, Doyle Dykes, Steve Vai, Carlos Montoya, Ritchie Blackmore, Jake E. Lee, Zakk Wylde, Paul Gilbert, and so many more. My friends also inspire me that play and that don't play. I was moved and more inspired most early in my playing when I heard the Alcatrazz "No Parol from Rock n Roll" album. Yngwie Malmsteen's virbrato and playing style helped me bring together all my influences. I am inspired by all music today, people, and my personal interests. Good and bad.
