Studio choice of many, Dub Basket East is the residential arm of Londons Dub Basket studios with an arsenal of audio tools at your beck and call.Located out on the Suffolk coast, hemmed in by protected bird sanctuaries, ancient viking estuary waterways and the giant sphere of Sizewell B, the studio is a collection of spaces for recording - some designed, some adapted and others just as they've been for ages. A converted barn houses the main room and kit while tie lines and mic boxes stretch all over the place to link adjacent barn and stable. There's a medieval house that sleeps 7 or so with B & B accomodation in the local village.Based around a Trident Trimix 1979 18:8:2 mixer, a fleet of valve, vintage and modern microphones, Pro Tools with Mytek front end converters, mic amps from API, ALtec, Lomo and Calrec and a host of dynamics, EQs & effects the studio is more than a match for any self respecting band/artist who is looking to escape their confines and immerse themselves in the process.Recent clients include the obscurists two banks of four; the west London uber diva Bembe Segue; David Okumus project The Invisible; Felthams answer to Barbara Streisand Willis' debut album & the enigmatic crooning nomad Earl Zinger.
