About Me

..

I was born on St. Patrick's Day in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since leaving home I have lived in Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Germany, Alaska, and now Oregon. I have played Irish music on the melodeon (one-row box) and two-row button accordion since the late 1970's. I lived in Germany for a total of 15 years, and during that time I went to Ireland at least once a year, oftentimes more (the US dollar was fairly strong during those years!). I retired from the U.S. Army in 2005, and now I occasionally tour in the USA with different musicians, and I hope to someday have a tune or two with many of the friends I've made here on MySpace that I haven't yet met!
