About Me

Hey yall. My name is Amy and I'm 21. I love music, the beach, my family and my friends, and the most important thing in my life is my faith. I live my life based on it...i am a christian (non-denominational) by the way. I can't stand liars, cheaters, people who have a "holier than thou" attitude, people who use others, or people who try and pressure others into doing things they don't want to...for future reference don't try it with me, cuz it's not gonna work. I'm real about my religion...i can't stand it when people are fake about it, just cuz everyone around me may be cussing, smoking, doing drugs, sleeping around... etc. doesn't mean I'm going to. at the same time though i will be the first person to admit that i am far from perfect and make plenty of mistakes...but who doesnt, were human...and I'm not afraid to stand up for my beliefs...luckily most people respect me more for that and are cool about it...and just because i am a christian doesn't mean i am judgemental...God gave everyone free will, and only he can judge...so i am not into that, i try and hang out with/talk to anyone and everyone, and help them out in anyway i can. i am a terrible judge of character unfortunately, i have a hard time understanding that some people will do things intentionally that are wrong to others, and its hard for me to grasp that concept cuz i know i wouldn't do it...it's led me to get screwed over a few too many times, which in turn makes me defensive, but possibly stronger...so you learn from your mistakes and whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger...i work 2 jobs (one i am the head of the children's activity center in a holliday inn resort on the oceanfront at va beach, and the other i am a chiropractic assistant and do therapies) and i am in school (not completely sure what I'm going to be anymore...now i'm leaning toward either radiology still, or respiratory therapy, but it could be something completely different) i am a very driven and goal oriented person, but i still love to have fun...what is the point of life if you can't enjoy it?...thats a basic run down on me...take care and God bless...have a great day!

Music:

Pretty much anythin except techno, "old people music", and the crap that you can't understand, but if i can dance to it, if it's a fun song, or pretty much anythin country, and a lot of classic alternative rock...i am down

Movies:

Comedys are my favorite (anything Adam Sandler pretty much, I also really like Wedding Crashers, and Saved),I am not crazy about sappy movies, but if I'm gonna watch a chick flick I like the Wedding Planner, and French Kiss, I also really like just movies with good story lines like John Q, and like sports ones like Remember the Titans...I like most movies, if it makes you think that's good

Television:

dont watch much, but i like reno 911, family guy, aqua teen hunger force, who's line is it anyway, house, scrubs, pros v. joes, a makeover story, trading spaces...the list goes on

Books:

I absolutely hate to read, but if I'm going to it might as well be the Bible, that's so cliche, but I'll be honest, I get bored with that one too...sorry

Heroes:

Jesus definately hands down, firemen, and the military (even though they have some club where they get together and discuss ways they can be really sweet to a girl and come off nice, then turn around screw her over).

working out...

spring break!

ok so i went snowboarding for the first time ...it was soooo much fun, i can't wait to do it again....you know what sucks though is on the way up there a rock hit my windsheild so i gotta get another ...
