SOPHIA MITRAKII was born and I live in Glyfada city.I was taught and educated • History of art • Portrait , nude and synthesis • Byzantine Iconography • Classic painting • Pyrography - wood burning • Maintenance of artMy teachers V. Vlachopoulos, Th. Karfakis, G. Gonias. I have presented my work in TV shows. I have participated in many shows and personal and team exhibitions in Greece and abroad and some of my paintings are in personal and public galleries. I have been awarded and I also have received excellent critics in Greece and in other countries. I have worked on all those techniques that I was taught. Based on the classic models of pyrography and beyond those models I believe that I use woodburning in a way which is introducing important innovations.I am also a cartoonist and I work with every day newspapers. I am vice president of the Greek company of Speach and Art . I am a member of the international company of Greek literature and a member of the city Palaio Faliro artists.And also a member of the International company of cartoonists and UNESCO group.
