Created by Werner Sauer Sr. in 1936, einszett was born out of the belief that a better car polish was possible. einszett, translated as "1Z", is based on the number-letter designation assigned to license plates registered in Köln, Sauer’s hometown. The company is still owned and operated by the Sauer family and includes an array of specialty products created for consumers, industry, paint and body shops.
