She has recently relocated to Los Angeles, California in pursuit of a professional singing career as a Pop/Rock artist on a major label. She attended the St. Louis R.C. School for Girls and briefly attended St. Joseph’s Convent High School as a teen. Upon graduation, she started living on her own at the age of seventeen, which she says, “Was very tough…in & out of group homes, bouncing around from house-to-house. It was no picnic!” Nevertheless, AnnaErin began taking vocal training & dance lessons to keep her productive. At the age of nineteen, she signed up with Actors Reps talent agency in Manhattan, and started working as a background performer on many popular feature films & music videos. She auditioned at many open calls, and won the lead role in a well-known, national infomercial for sexually active teens.In college, AnnaErin took many jazz and performing art classes. “It reminded me of when I was in my school’s choir, which gave me such a vocal rush!” She and a group of musically gifted students, along with their choir director from Mahalia Jackson Intermediate School, performed for nearby hospitals. Working part-time, she attended Long Island University, where she majored in Sociology, Psychology & minored in Pre-Med. Upon graduation, she received a bachelor’s degree in social sciences. AnnaErin decided to study for the MCATS and pursue a career in medicine. While visiting various medical schools, she reminded herself, “The medical field is Plan B, singing is my destiny!” She immediately “switched gears” and began substitute teaching children in kindergarten-12th grade, which lead to a full-time position as a kindergarten teacher. “I loved teaching, however, when I asked the kids what they wanted to be when they’re older…majority responded: A Singer! I then knew I had to pursue my dream immediately!”AnnaErin has performed in many local night clubs in Los Angeles as a Rock artist. After several record label executives took an early interest in her look as “the girl next door with a sweet voice”, she was asked to try Pop/Rock instead, which was an excellent fit! She’s currently recording with some well-known music producers and looking forward to getting signed by a major label in the coming months. Her unique image can still be seen acting in commercials and illustrated in print advertisements. Her voice is featured on www.inkwellsurf.com singing one of her early songs that gave her instant “online fame!” She's also writing a new theme song for the website inspired by African American surfers & their unique Californian lifestyles. AnnaErin’s motto is clear, “I am here to ROCK THE WORLD IN MY SOCKS!” This “sexy branding vice” of wearing long, designer socks & stockings is all her own. She also has “a million & one” other business ideas she's actively pursuing. She’s completed editing her first book: “Mastering The Game”.“I’m an international humanitarian. I inspire young girls with determination to pursue their dreams. I let them know there are many circumstances that will thwart life’s experiences. Long as you maintain a positive attitude & stay focused you can achieve anything!
