Will Smith and Daisy Mae

Hi! We're Will Smith and Daisy Mae Weyandt. We live in a nice apartment with our mom and dad in New Albany. We really like it here. We like to run and play and eat the fuzz off of tennis balls. I like to crawl under Mom and Dad's bed and chew on the box spring. Daisy likes to pick up pinecones when we go outside and carry them around. Mom always takes them away from her. She does the same thing when I pick up bits of bark from the mulch and bring them inside. Mom thinks that makes too much of a mess. Once Daisy and I got really restless when Mom and Dad kicked us out of the bedroom so they could sleep in a little longer, and we chewed on the drywall and on Mom's book shelf and most of her books. She was really mad at us. We spent a lot of time in our cages that day. But we were still pretty little puppies then. I'm one year old now, and Daisy is ten months old. My Birthday is May 15th. Or at least that's when Mom and Dad celebrate it. They aren't really sure when it is other than that the guy they got me from said I was born in May. They figured May 15th would be the easiest to remember. As for Daisy, she was born on July 9th. The breader they got her from told them that. That's the day Mom and Dad bought me. That makes it an easy date for them to remember. Anyway, now on to the really interesting stuff. On July 10th (the day after Mom and Dad got me) Dad took me to PetSmart to get a collar and a tag with my name on it. Dad found a tag with the Superman logo on it, and since Dad really likes Superman that's what he got for me. I had been a really timid pup till then, and so Dad put me in the child seat of the shopping cart. Well, when he put that new tag on me I got a lot more confident. In fact I thought I could fly. So I tried it. I jumped out of the cart and broke two bones in my right front leg. I then realized that was a really stupid idea. I had to have surgury. The vets at MedVet were really great. They put a plate in my leg and now I feel great. As for Daisy, she had to have surgury too, only her's wasn't because she did something stupid. She didn't grow right. I'm not really sure what they did to her except that she was in a lot of pain before the surgury. Dad said they removed part of her hip bone. She's doing really well now. And we're both really happy.
