About Me

Welcome to the Myspace of the Gisborne State Emergency Services Volunteers!Our unit has approx 40 volunteers from all different backgrounds.Gisborne SES Volunteers are trained to plan for and respond to Road Crash Rescue; Severe Storms; Floods; Building Collapse; Earthquakes; 4WD Recoveries; Land Search and Rescue; as well as a wide scope of other areas. We also support other emergency services including providing ground support for the CFA and scene protection for the Police.
