Recent Commentary: I just saw Memoirs of a Geisha. It's sad how Hollywood can distort and rob. They began by portraying the injustice of 'pretty' Japanese prostitution. The viewer is moved by the oppression of young girls and women. By the end, you are so caught up in the love story, nobody cares about fighting the male-perverted sex industry in Japan, or anywhere else.the top for me have gotta be runaway bride (for everything you need to know about love), anne of green gables (tears every time), much ado about nothing (the best of shakespeare), mostly martha (a German jewel), il postino (gotta love Pablo Neruda), the notebook (are there men like this?), princess bride (a childhood classic), the kid (very healing), emperors club (for my fellow teachers) and good will hunting (a city kid's mentality, no doubt).
