Le groupe se forme en Septembre 2006 sous le nom de NEPHILIM et se compose alors de cinq musiciens : un chanteur, KavöX (ex- Torment Craft & actuel ABOROTH), deux guitaristes, Fefe (ex- Torment Craft & actuel DUST REMAINS), Antoine (ex- Isarnkoll), d'un bassiste, Emeric (ADRANA) et d'un batteur, Fabi (ex- Tremoria). La formation décide dès sa création d’évoluer dans un style progressif, alliant des ambiances de désespoir, sombres et oppressantes a la fureur et la violence du death metal. En Juin 2008, Emeric, le bassiste et membre originel décide de quitter le groupe pour se consacrer pleinement à son autre groupe, ADRANA. Quelques temps plus tard, c'est finalement Tottin's qui prend la relève. Après une première démo épique, donnant un aperçu de la prophétie engendrée par le démon ANKSYLION, réel bras armé d'un Dieu voulant punir les Hommes pour s'être détournés de lui, la formation et notamment KavöX décident de s'orienter vers une toute autre idée, celle de dépeindre la décadence d'un homme inadapté à la façon dont la société actuelle est façonnée à travers différentes thématiques développées dans chacune des chansons composées par la suite, qui devraient être présente sur un album prochainement.

The band forms in September, 2006 under the name of NEPHILIM and is composed of five musicians: a singer, two guitarists, a bass player and a drummer, born of ashes of the death metal band called TORMENT CRAFT and of several groups still existing, ISARNKOLL (black metal), TREMORIA ( thrash / death ) and ADRANA (symphonic heavy metal). The band decides from its creation to evolve in a progressive style, allying atmospheres of despair, dark and oppressive in the fury and violence of the death metal. This variety of atmospheres serves the universe of the clan which takes the name of ANKSYLION, angel and God's degenerated offspring, sent on Earth by his creator to punish Men of their corruption and the Evil which torments them. A wrestling starts between spiritual controlling elements and Men beings simply endowed with instincts and reason...
