Miltmon
Miltmon aka the surfer dude , the Guru of the Groove for many.After years of playing the Lone Star Cafe in NYC, Miltmon has lent his grooves to many,such notables as Kinky Friedman, Suzanne Vega and The Night Tripper himself, Dr John landing him in his comfort zone ,New Orleans. Milt spent many a night freelancing around the French Quarter and Uptown developing his style from there.
Miltmon studied at the altar of Jazz great Joe Morello. Miltmon's sound is as unique as his hybrid percussion rig,blending african drums alongside a snare and unusual percussion. As you listen to his New Orleans' funky grooves and look up, you can't but help to ask. Where"s the bassdrum? Miltmon's Voodoo drum altar along with his counterpart Steve O are real treat. MIltmon is currently playing alot of djembe after departing from the zydeco jam band "The Hot Take Out Band".
Miltmon currently can be found in Point, on the beach with his sidekick Lab, Jax or eating Tex-Mex,watching his beloved SAINTS.. He currently can be contacted for any kind of percussion or drumming situations.
