TEH-REBEL/ TEH-REBL/ TERRIBLEMusical Background: Born DEVON ANTHONY REYNOLDS to Mama THELMA REID, it's from his youthful days TEHREBL/TEHREBEL(which is pronounce TERRIBLE) discovered his musical talents. Journeying most of his youthful days in the community of SEAVIEW GARDENS(one JAMAICA'S Musical Colleges, from which hailed SHABBA RANKS, BOUNTY KILLER,FYAH LINKS,ELEPHANT MAN and many others) he attended Balmagie Primary and on to the prestigious Calabar High School were he met his musical piers."Many a times we would miss classes just to group musically, even though our academic level wasn't low, we balanced the scale". After leaving high school, and entering the real world, he had done odd jobs and wanting to become a CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT and a BUSINESS OWNER(which he's still pursuing seriously) he still stays focussed on HIS MUSICAL journey "It's always the love for it", he said, as he recalled his musical beginnings in writing poems at an early age and adopting the habit of writing poems and not finishing them. His step-father owned a sound system on which he and his brothers(MILO-CHAMZ and KEVIN FLAMES) used to practice their musical skills. He shows passionate love for music and highly conscious about his works, Teh-Rebl decided seriously to take on his musical journey through his writing skills.TEHREBEL admired the likes of BILLY OCEAN, PETER TOSH,BOB MARLEY,MICHAEL JACKSON, JACOB MILLER AND MANY OTHERS."Currently, TEHREBEL is signed to Heavy Artillery Recordz label." Which is formed by himself and Patrick(Milo-Chamz) Reid.TEHREBEL, an atrtist, songwriter and producer have great plans for his career and label and also his Brother who is a Composer,Disc Joc and Producer like himself, they both come together to produce the PREMEDZ(one-drop) RIDDIM with artist such as:JAH MASON,TURBULENCE,LUTAN FYAH,NATTY KING, NORRISMAN and upcoming artists like Himself(TEHREBL),PROFESSIONAL DAYNJAH and many more.Performances: SEAVIEW STING in DECEMBER'07.Most embarrassing moment but fun on the otherhand(stage experience): "ELOQUENCE and I were at the Starfish Hotel in Trelawny(Ja) we went on stage to perform a song we had written that same day. However, when the rhythm started to play, we totally forgot the words to the song!"(speaking jokingly).What I write about in my songs? "It's what I feel, what I see, what I know, what I believe in. IT'S ALL ABOUT WRITING GOOD MUSIC, whether REGGAE/DANCEHALL." And consciously speaking his culture songs is from HIGH MEDITATIONS. "Singing song for others is speaking for voiceless or for people who can't say things the way they want to" The REBL says. TEHREBEL expresses himself from the heart.Collaborations: "He has done a collaboration with fellow band member ELOQUENCE "JAH SEH FI RUN COME" on THE PHATT TRAXX LABEL.What I am working on currently? : Some highly positive materials and trying to manage my time productively, recording and completing my Diploma in Business Administration and on to my Accounts Course later on.For me it's a challenge, I like challenges. That's what pushes me to move forward in life."He has great plans for his musical career and his label, "The sky is the limit! (Laughs). Music full time Music for life and I'll use my music to make a difference and send positive messages throughout the world for everyone to hear." So far TEHREBL has recorded songs like: BIG UP DI GIRLS DEM(a positive vibe uplifting our Ladies) SO MANY YEARS (Issues regarding the needy)) AND YOU DON'T DESERVE( speaks of Voilence against the children) ft. ALTHEA DI CHICK and JAH SEH FI RUN COME ft. ELOQUENCE, POSITIVE but RADICAL,these two(BIG UP DI GIRLS DEM/YOU DON'T DESERVE) are featured on the HEAVY DUTY MEDLEY and PREMEDZ MEDLEY VIDEOS respectively which has received heavy rotation on local TV stations(HYPE TV,RETV,MUSIC+ and others).TEHREBL IS A REBEL/REBEL WITH A CAUSE, FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS AND UPLIFTMENT OF HUMANITY AND MANKIND AROUND THE WORLD.!!!!!!Advice for young artistes: "Stay focussed and write good, clean lyrics."Heavy Duty Medley - TURBULENCE,TEHREBL,LUTAN FYAH,PROFESSIONAL DAYNJAH,BESCENTA & more and also THE PREMEDZ MEDLEY ft.
