I compose mainly works for symphony orchestras, chamber music, electronic and vocal works but also can contain fusions of different instruments and is open to explore "unfamiliar sounds".
Lately, I've become more interested of working with harmony, melodic, rhythm and timbre as a ground parameter. This approach is very apparent in pieces like Tvardrag ("Cross Draught") for double string orchestra and Sacrificio for tuba, live-electronics and orchestra. The latter was a project with Kjetil Myklebust and Malmo Symphony Orchestra, performed in September 2005 at the Konserthuset in Malmo
What I want with music today is to dig in deep into the musical hemsiphere and to bring out more clear relations between A to B and a "clinch", this can be appeared as "ethereal/down-to-earth", "spirit/matter" etc. Today we are exposed very densely from the media with all kinds of noise and junk. We need to take a stand and say "STOP! We want to deliver something more real and interesting instead of letting people losing the awareness in today's society."
