.."CONWY based prog-rockers Tramp With A Plan are set to take North Wales with a bang.Straight off the back of coming out of the recording studio with new and energetic tracks, the band have proved their worth as live performers during a series of local gigs.The eclectic range of material is a testament to their quality and potential.From the outset of the metal rythmed Fake Smiles, grinding thrusts from guitarist Simon balance pleasingly with drummer Jason's double-bass pedal beats. But it's vocalist Dan who brings a mature and complete sound to the track with his adaptable vocals resulting in a sound akin to Therapy? crossed with Stavesacre.After descending into finger-picking riffs and Metallica-esque instrumentation that James Hetfield would be proud of, you could be forgiven for labelling Tramp With A Plan as another metal/rock band.
