Coming from a family with deep musical roots as songwriters and performers, it was inevitable that the microphone would end up in her hand. With her first talent show under her belt at the age of 8, she was on her way. Melissa grew up as a Navy brat, and travelled the country. She has performed in musical productions and talent shows, and finally formed a band in college. Melissa eventually ended up back in Florida, and started feverishly writing and recording her first album. She has shown that she is able to adapt her unique and powerful voice into any genre, and yet individual enough to stand out above the rest. As a singer and songwriter, Melissa is a powerhouse of emotion and true energy that keeps you wanting for more. Her soulful and melodic tone will carry you to new heights. Melissa is currently back in the studio working on her upcoming album. In addition to performing her own original work out live, Melissa also performs The National Anthem and God Bless America on a regular basis for many different events.
