Mark Sandman Music Project

About Me

The Mark Sandman Music Project and HI-N-DRY have moved into the new Armory Arts Center in Somerville, MA. We have planted our feet there, and we are creating opportunities for young people to play music together. We believe that this is a chance for us to take what we have learned from being musicians and promote it in our community in a way that is beyond “Please buy my record". The theory is simple. Creative collaboration forms community. When we assist kids in working together in creative situations, we are seeding the community with creative thinkers and helping them develop a positive means of self-expression and social and cognitive skills.
