Jodie’s Groove (is breaking up)

On the heels of the last frost of the year, the city of Providence was abuzz with life. The light from the moon penetrated the occasional cloud and the river ran red with fire as if a reminder of the winter just passed. Unknowingly to the city, a group of three musicians were meeting for the first time in a town not too far away. The musicians played for three days straight only taking breaks for cigarettes. Upon the completion of the three days the musicians stepped into the light and were greeted by a face they had never seen before. Whether it be dream or reality they will never be sure. The face told them that they had a duty to be done for the rest of their lives, and that duty was to play music for anyone willing to be enlightened by the power of the face. Jodie's Groove was formed in three days, and the next four days they rested...and got stoned.
