Hi. I am a bass guitar player based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I did the NY club scene in the late 70's and some local club and party work in the early 80's playing lead guitar. I host a very cool Pro Jam night every Thursday night (www.myspace.com/hammerjacksmusic) and I get to do my part with the house band. We get some awesome players in the room and it is a blast playing with and listening to them.My favorite styles are blues, Motown, classic rock, some old school funk. I'm not a slap player, just in the pocket thumpin. I love playing with music gear and I have way too much stuff, I've been told? I just can't decide what pieces I don't need. Mostly Fender, Gibson, Ibanez bass guitars, Ampeg and GK amps, a few PA's, recording equipment, lighting and some vintage collectable items.I really get off when playing with others who have the same talent and get into that groove. When I have time I like to play out with gigging bands so I can use my stuff, meet new friends, maybe make a few dollars to buy more stuff to use, to meet more people, to play more, to buy more stuff...My chops are starting to come back after a 10 year hiatus as a full time father. My fingers still work but my memory needs retraining! Look me up if you need a dependable bass player with great gear, transportation, a sharp ear and quick to learn or remember what was forgot!
