Band Members: DJ RADAZARadaza (pronounced Ra-Da-Za) began his career as a Hip Hop dancer and choreographer for a dance group back in his hometown. As a youth growing up, his musical influences covered a diverse range of genres, from Motown, New Jack Swing to Rock and Roll, Punk and even Filipino Folk songs.
After completing his degree, he made the move to the big city where his musical journey took another turn with the discovery of the sound they call "house music". It was only a matter of time before he traded in his dancing shoes with the metal wheels of the turntables.
Immersing himself with other genres along the way (electro, breaks, trance even rockabilly) his musical arsenal is as impressive as the energy he creates when performing. In only a few short months practicing behind the decks, his uncanny ability to learn and quickly adapt sees him hold down residencies and guest appearances in some of Brisbane's well known establishments such as Jorge on George street, Birdee Num nums, The Regatta Hotel, The Story Bridge Hotel, Chique Boutique, Barzuka, Caxton Street Seafood Festival,The Embassy. The Metropole and now holds a residency every Saturday night at Brisbane's Premier nightclub GPO and the newly renovated Planet Nightclub every Thursday, along with DUSK (monthly). He can also be seen performing at Brisbane's number one Superclub The MET and this years Valley Fiesta, with his group BOOMSTAR LOCO. This group is soaring in popularity given the high calibre of artist formulating the group. Also in his short tenure, he has suppported some of the biggest and most talented International and Local Djs/Producers such as: Precision Cuts, Tamsin, Shredlock, B.L.I.M, DJ Friendly, Dj Vlad, Bitrok ,The Rogue Element. Nick Thayer, Madox, Muscles and more
Co-Founder and ex-member of the A.D.I.C.T.S crew, Radaza is causing a tidal wave of attention from supporters and peers alike. His infectious shenanigans are currently on display at venues all around Brisbane and will soon spread interstate and overseas.
With his dancing background in mind, expect the dance floor to be stripped down to its floorboards by the shoes of people dancing hard into the night and the air perfumed by bass-induced sweat, which only the sounds of Radaza can deliver.
