Identity by Seclusion

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4A song that makes you smirk and ponder: “was that written about me?” Fernando Martinez knows how to hit that sweet spot in all of us; first by getting our attention with his melodic voice and then by connecting us to the lyrics. He is currently recording his debut album Identity by Seclusion which is scheduled to come out in September 0f 2007. As he prepares to tour behind his debut, Fernando is gathering up talented musicians from all over Spain to support his unique vocals with unforgettable instrumentals.Music inspired Fernando from an early age of 13 when he moved to Cairo and his parents bought him a classical guitar. From this moment onwards music took a different dimension for him and everyone around him. It became his unforgiving passion and he quickly started composing songs. Living all over the world in cities such as Jakarta, Bogotá and Rio de Janeiro, Fernando’s hometown of Madrid is where he can be found today, writing songs like “Daily”, “Notes from the Underground” and “Don´t Mind”. His music has already garnered some recognition and many of his songs are currently playing on TV and radio in national advertising campaigns, such as DGT’s.The best musical experience for him came from living in New York City, one of the capitals of the musical world. NYC provided a perfect epicenter where he came in contact with a variety of musicians, attended countless concerts and composed innumerable songs. Five years flew by and as life had taught him, he had soaked up the culture like a sponge and he became ready to move on and take on a new challenge. Fernando stands out amongst millions with his fresh and poignant voice as his number one instrument and his melodies his distinctive gift - moving, memorable melodies which excite him to pick up his guitar and sing everyday.
