Half Act

About Me

Half Act joined forces in 2003 at Saint Johns University when Mike Fluto and Joe Marinac formed an acoustic duo that was heavily called upon to entertain the college crowd. They were featured on the SJU compilation album put out by the campus record label CGR (Campus Groove Recordings).

With the help of friends, Kevin and Kirby of Quietdrive (formerly Sneaker2Bombs) of Epic Records, they recorded a 4-track demo to expand their fan base and play in the several venues in the Twin Cities area.
In 2004, they performed at venues in the St. Joseph and St. Cloud area and found drummer Justin Ashton when Mike moved to the Cities.

They have become crowd favorites at several venues and bars throughout the Twin Cities area and are continuously trying to push their musical limits.
