Oliver Heywood-Jones is a Canadian musician currently making his home in Downtown Toronto. He is primarily a drummer, having studied drums at private lessons and later at Selkirk College's Music Program in Nelson, British Columbia. Oliver has a dynamic portfolio, having played drums and/or percussion for several rock, folk and jazz artists and bands and has been part of performance ensembles ranging from Broadway to Funk, to 100% Frank Zappa. During his time at Selkirk College, Oli had the opportunity to be part of a small performance as a percussionist for Bassist Stuart Hamm. For the past three years he played as part of a touring independent Rock & Roll band, The Balling Jacks.Oliver is also a skilled and experienced bassist, currently playing for country band, Lucky Fool as well as the Al Lukas Band, a guitar player, a singer/songwriter and enjoys mixing it up with such instruments as the mandolin, keyboard, and anything else he can get his hands on.
