About Me

And you ain't going to nirvana or farvana,
you're coming right back here to live out your karma...

Music is my RELIGION.
So. Time for a myspace about me overhaul. Man, you know how difficult it is to write about yourself? I believe that we change everyday, I'm not the same person I was yesterday, and if you think you are, you should probably be six feet under.
So, lets ramble on...
I have a twin brother, and no, we do not share a psychic connection. He has poo brown hair and eyes, unlike my glorious golden (?) locks and blue eyes (like the ocean on a summers day). ;P. Just kidding. He used to be short and fast, but now he is tall and mucho macho buffo. He is the nicest person I have ever met. And the laziest. I thank him for sci-fi fantasy movies, bloody good tunes, computer games and manga. And most of all, I thank him for led zeppelin. You rock bro.
I am a crazy person. I think we are all a little bit crazy. I can love as hard as I can hate, and I don't think I am ever going to change that. I love to laugh. And I love my mates (peace + love to ya all xx). I am proud to be an aussie, and the bush and the trees and even those bloody kangaroos are awesome. I love drinking. Wine. And Bundaberg rum - I am a bogan in disguise...kindof. ;P Anyway, I'll take both in copious amounts and in any form. 'Does Amy's life revolve around boozing it up?', I may hear you ask. Well. Yes ;P. My pillow is a goon bag. Let the love flow freely my people. You know I'm pissed when I start telling random people I love them and giving everyone hugs. Hahah watch out - I promise I can make you cry in 10 seconds flat with one of my unexpected D&M's at the bar. Having a night out with The Cakies? Wear waterproof eyeliner. And I mean you Liam. "Man, I love you guys, you know that? I bloody love you...*sob*" Just ask my mates. ;P
I am lucky enough to have five saviours,
and they are f*cking holier than thou (cue music):
Liam (The Messiah), (the) Martin, Ryan (-no pants),
Josie (-beans) and Lisa (-my dude).
I know you probably don't know it, but you are.
WARNING: IMPENDING RANT...
I worry about the world and what my (future) kids are going to have to live through. I am thinking about how we are screwing the earth over and how we are living unsustainably. I am thinking about millionaires that live in huge houses and have fancy cars while the majority of the worlds population go starving. I dunnoe. I hate organised religion - NOTE: not the people that are in it. I don't believe in sitting on a cloud with my homie god and just 'eating philadelphia cream cheese' (quote khira). There is just no point. Reincarnation sounds better - at least you are recycled into something useful.
I am sick of prejudice and racism. I feel like we are trapped in a crazy cycle of work-sleep-work-sleep and its completely un-natural and INSANE. I mean, this is not what we are meant to be doing. What have we created for ourselves? Life goes by and we don't really learn or change anything. And then you die.
And its all about money. Money money money. Its apparently what runs the world. A flimsy bit of flat plastic with some face on it from days past. What about the bloody sun and the moon and the earth. Hahaha I am turning into a hippie. But screw it. Its more real than cement and iron and plastic. There is a gap there - a hole, something that is missing. I am looking for it and its bloody hard to find. I don't know what it is - maybe spirituality, escape from the material world? But thats not permanent or constant - you always have to return to the real world. Maybe its what all of mankind suffers from. Maybe its what keeps us alive and keeps us striving. Eternal GREED. It is the way we are programmed.
On a brighter note...before you all start slitting your wrists ;P...
I currently live with my boyfriend, Liam, in a lovely little house up in Parkerville with our two doggies. The rent is cheap, and its near home, so its good (gotta keep an eye on the olds - they're going senile ;P). The landlady is a NEUROTIC PSYCHOTIC and gives us hell for leaving the gate open. Ah well.
She's just lonely and sad and basically has nothing better to do.
I love Liam, and that will be the way it is forever.
The sun rises and sets with him.
...Yay for honeypie! :)
I wish I drew more. I used to draw heaps. Isn't it funny when times are sweet you seem to lose your passion for things - i.e music, art, writing.
I am weird and I like weird people.
I'm a closet hippie, "God, that is so 1969". Incense, candles, Nature - the sky; the earth; the rain, hash cookies, buddha (or 'boods' - as in 'Yo, Boods - sup?"), anything ancient orient, joni mitchell,
'packing my bags for the misty mountains (where the spirits go)'- i dig it.
Man.I am a 'loose' honker - If you piss me off in traffic, you'll know about it.

Howard: I'll put a move on you, you won't know what's happening.
Vince: You haven't got any moves. I've felt your moves, how flimsy are they, they're like being carressed with a natural yogurt.
Howard: I've got new, powerful moves now thanks.
Vince: Yeah, did you send off for some new ones?
Howard: Yes I did, they arrived this morning.
Vince: First post?
Howard: First post, yeah. The post that hurts the most.
Vince: Well come on then.
Howard: Yeah, I'm gonna put a move on you.
Vince: Yeah?
Howard: I'll take you out for a meal with Mr and Mrs pain, order up some violent quiche. Do you want some?
Vince: Come on.
Howard: [Touches Vince's chest]
Vince: What's that? That's nothing.
Howard: Feels like nothing, but that's the vibrating palm. You feel alright now, but two hours from now you'll go to a shop, you'll buy a hat, it won't suit you. Ow!
Vince: There's no way. Look at me. My hair's virtually a hat, all hats suit me.
Howard: You'll see.
