Neal Norton and Jon Jimenez originally had the idea to create a band back in 2006. When they asked Ben Landis to join they started the group "W" with another guitarist of less importance. After firing that guitarist the band aquired guitarist Alex Fidel, formally known as Fido. That is when everything seemed to click and they started pumping out heavier and heavier songs.
After about a year or so, the band decided that "W" didn’t fit well anymore and after a month of arguing the band agreed on the name "MEPHISTOPHELES" (satan). Then Jon quit so Nick joined and we changed our name to Dark Grave
