In 2006, Genemichael Lauria met a man who was going to change his life. This man, Kenny Wisdom, was about to show him the incredible passion that rested inside for an art known by many as Spoken Word Poetry. In addition to familiarizing Genemichael with freestyle written poetry, Kenny introduced him the the artists Buddy Wakefield, Sage Francis, POS, Dkaid, Descartes Ekman, and many others, tossing him into an open traffic jam, forcing him to wait in line for the light.When he got up there, y'all, he was so nervous that the seagulls crying in his heart gave out, and he fell in love.This is his interpretations of that story.
