Giovanni Fiderio and Gianmaria Sortino founded the metal band in 2003. So they called Ivan Iacono to play bass, Giovanni Cappello to play guitar and Raffaele Tantillo at vocals.
In April 2004 they had their first live gig in Ragusa at the “art’s dayâ€, they played some song by Metallica, Pantera and some other thrash metal bands. After the summer of 2004, Giovanni Cappello went to university, so Ivan played the guitar, and they called Federico Tidona to play bass. in the ending of 2004 after some performances in Ragusa, they decided to change their kind of music from thrash metal to a new kind of metal between death, progressive, epic, and doom as well, trying to stay in the traditional metal area; so they called Giuseppe Floridia to play keyboards. In the beginning of 2005, after their first demo of 5 cover songs, they decided to rescind the band. Luckily Giovanni Fiderio and Giuseppe Floridia were going to have another band, so after they convinced Raffaele to sing with them again and after they met the drums player Mauro Belluardo, they called the guitar player Alberto Cicciarella, and Davide Ruscica at bass. The new band, called “Nosferatu’s lair†(like their old one), began to play some cover song by My dying bride, Metallica and some others and after 3 months they wrote their first songs. In July 2007 Alberto Cicciarella left the band.
They published their first album in september 2008 "swallowed by silence".
After "swallowed by silence", nosferatu's lair understood that in their sound something was missing, so they decided to add another guitar player... So Giulio Scivoletto joined to the crew! They're now working on the second release.
