.... more b.e_cooling
b.e_cooling's influences are wide and many and embrace music from around the world and range from as far afield as Delta blues to punk, Beethoven to the Beatles, Flanders and Swann to Frank Zappa to .........well, himself really.
With his Fender F-75 acoustic guitar and distinctive baritone voice, b.e_cooling delivers memorable melodies and evocative lyrics in songs that are simply tantalizing. From cosy ballads to whimsical rockers, you can be guaranteed a variety of moods which explore modern issues and age-old concerns ........ all delivered with a sardonic-Canadian wit.
Since first playing together on the Avalon Cafe Stage at Glastonbury 2008, b.e_cooling has been working with 'Woody' Woodward, a talented multi-instrumentalist and experienced technician with 20 years in the business of music to contribute. This collaboration has brought new sounds, tunings and harmonies to b.e_cooling's music with exciting opportunities to explore. At present, they are recording their first CD to follow on from b.e_cooling's debut CD, "Getting Warmer" (May 2008). You can see them perform regularly at open mic nights in the south-west of England.
With the occasional ‘bottle-neck slide’ or harmonica thrown into the mix - "there's something for everyone ........... at least some of the time.”
